AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! screw this already! you know what, just keep him.. enjoy the cellar jack****

BRob needs some juice to get back where he once belonged.

McPhail is probably just having a tough time getting Angelos to go along with all of the pieces to the puzzle, ex. the O's were ready to go with the package and then Sean Gallagher had a rough outing in front of their scouts and now they want to change the pitching prospect to Sean Marshall instead. Andy and Jim Hendry will work it out if somebody could slip Angelos a sedative.

Hey Jim Hendry,

Keep on looking to buy Roberts at the top. It should help with your drought to reach to 101 years.

Sincerely,

The NL Central

jeez, enough already - who cares at this point? Let us know if it happens. Otherwise, shut up about this.

March 6, 2008  12:15 AM ET

Roberts will become a Cub, and Carlos Marmol will become their #1 starter in 2006 with a record of 29-1, 0.79 ERA and a 0.21 WHIP. He'll also crush 16 pinch-hit home runs, one more than Roberts season total. But Marmol will lose the Cy Young Award to Sergio Mitre of the Marlins, who will go 33-0, and have Jim Hendry kicking himself for letting the kid go.

March 6, 2008  11:22 AM ET

Brian Roberts sick of the Cubbies trade rumors and then nothing happening has bought the Cub's team and traded himself to Chicago.

March 6, 2008  12:17 PM ET

In other news, Brian Roberts announced his retirement today. He holds the record for almost getting traded.
