The rivalry, while still an intense one, has seemed to become alot more about mutual appreciation. Hank is trying to change that of course but the players really don't seem to carry any hate for each other. I don't even think the Sox players hate A-Rod as much anymore.

This Yankee-Red Sox lovefest the last couple of weeks is making me sick. Varitek go punch A-Rod in the mouth again!!!!!

Hey metro, trust me when I say that noone likes A-rod around these parts, and the players especially.. Disliking the Yankees is not just a job, it's an adventure. In fact it's a whole way of life. I'm glad to have you guys for that. I know you agree, and maybe we'll talk a lot this season. Once the season begins it'll all seem right again

And we've got a scout named Spanky working for us this year so that's always good.

I hear ya nfl. While my av says Boston Sucks (and I do feel that way) I try not to be a d-bag about it. I actually like talking to level headed Sox fans and seeing what they have to say about things. Maybe I am wrong about the Sox players not hating A-Rod as much, I just thought after '04 and last year it might have subsided things. I would never expect the fans to stop though! Ha!

I like talking to the level headed Boston fans as well. Both of them are pretty good guys.

I'm a Yankee fan, and I admit to having a soft spot for Terry Francona. He seems like a decent guy, and it would take a saint to have to put up with the likes of Manny Ramirez and Curt Schilling.
