Hoosiers suspend quarterback

Indiana quarterback Kellen Lewis has been suspended indefinitely for a violation of team rules, coach Bill Lynch announced Thursday. Lynch did not give details and a team spokesman called it an "internal matter.'' With Lewis unable to participate when spring practice begins March 25, it leaves a shaky picture at quarterback. Ben Chappell will be the team's No. 1 quarterback, but third-team QB Teddy Schell will miss the spring because of an injury. Mitchell Evans, who was moved from quarterback to safety last year, will return to quarterback for the spring.

WTF? You used to never hear this kind of stuff happening in Hoosier land. Then again, we don't really know what happened, it may be something very minor. At least they didn't ignore it.

I can understand if the team keeping a tight lid on why I player is supended, if it is due to allegations and they want to find out the full truth before outing the offense. Hopefully it is something minor.

I can't believe Kellen would get suspended. This is a huge blow to the hoosiers offense.
