Red Wings hope Hasek returns
If goalie Dominik Hasek wants to play next season, the Red Wings are all for it. Hasek didn't commit one way or another to playing another season after Tuesday's series-ending 4-3 loss to Anaheim.

Retiring after the 2002 cup winning season would have been the smart thing to do, but he did play really well this year for the wings.....I wouldnt go as far as saying hes the clemens of hockey, then again, I hope no one is ever compaired to clemens..........

im sry but the guy who compared him to clemons is an idiot.....haven't u notices both players are still just below elite players...hasek had the second best save percentage in the playoffs and last year clemons was one of the best in era again.

Actually, Hasek was 3rd behind M. Turco-1.30 but only 7 games played, R.Luongo 1.77 12 games and Hasek 1.79 with 18 games. He did very well for an old ****,but lets not forget that I hate the Red Wings

Cool. I hear they also asked Richard Sevigny to come back as their #2.

hasek sucks, he loses sight of the puck and does a snow angel, hmmm thats a great reaction lie on ur back so u can be pushed into the net, the wings need to start working howard more, and get rid of osgood, hes not an answer, hes hardly a back up, the wings don't have the power to win with a mediocre goalie n e more...
