MacLean makes up with Lightning

Doug MacLean might end up in Tampa Bay after all. Apparently, MacLean is back in good graces with Lightning majority owner Oren Koules, even though MacLean and Florida real estate developer Jeff Sherrin sued Koules for $50 million when the group's Absolute Hockey Enterprise's venture fell apart in November. Koules broke apart from MacLean and Sherrin and formed his own group to buy the Lightning, prompting the lawsuit, which was settled for an undisclosed amount. OK Hockey's purchase was approved in January. MacLean, who was president and general manager of the Blue Jackets before his firing last April, has patched up any difference with Koules in recent weeks, according to NHL sources.

Feaster is a half-decent GM - why replace him with someone worse?

Look at that face! It has toolbag written all over it!

I agree with Easy Rebel - please God no! I would rather continue to have Feaster than have a guy that drove the Blue Jackets into the ground. This is a guy who doesn't listen to anyone but himself. How many teams does he have to kill before someone sees he is not GM material? This is after all the same guy that stole Modin and gave us Denis in return.

Prince Edward Island unemployment rate has gone down thanks again to this tired old windbag, I used to wonder what they did with the farmers who grew small potatoes, they tell them to leave and get a job in the NHL.
When will hockey wake up, this guy is just stealing another paycheque. What has he ever won? Even Columbus grew tired off his "Next years spuds will be much better" crap.
