Crew interested in Almeyda
The Columbus Crew has apparently taken interest in former Argentine World Cup player Matias Almeyda. He recently turned 34. He can play in the back or defensive midfield. Started his career with River Plate, moved to Sevilla, then to Serie A with Lazio, Parma, Inter Milan and Brescia. The last two years he was with Quilmes in Argentina and Lyn in Norway.
