Pats could not overcome the distractions the world threw at them: a bogus restraining order and perfectly timed billowings from disgruntled ex-employee Walsh and Eagles fanatic Arlen Specter and we have not even gotten around to discussing the officating.

Moss and the alleged victim left out the most important point. THE SETTLEMENT!!!!!

Restraining order against Moss dropped

Herald colleague Laurel Sweet has the story on Florida woman Rachelle Washington deciding not to pursue legal action against Patriots receiver Randy Moss, whom she accused of injuring her on Jan. 6. She also dropped the restraining order she had taken out against him. Moss, meanwhile, agreed to have his insurance company pay her medical bills.

???There is finally recognition by her that there were no intentionally inflicted injuries,??? attorney Richard Sharpstein told the Herald. ???(Moss is) extremely pleased this unfortunate incident has been put in its proper perspective.???

Let's see the lawsuit got dropped by the Ram's guy yesterday............now this case is getting dropped..............can anybody say the Patriots got a screw job by the media before the SuperBowl with all these stories that are now holding no merit? Talk about a witchhunt..........
