Violence case vs. Moss closed

The woman who obtained a restraining order in a domestic violence case against Patriots receiver Randy Moss had the order dissolved and the case closed yesterday, saying through her lawyer that there was no malicious intent. Rachelle Washington, 35, had alleged that Moss caused her serious injury in a Jan. 6 incident in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., then denied her medical attention. The restraining order barred Moss from coming within 500 feet of Washington. Washington's lawyer, Darrell Thompson, explained the turn of events last night. "My client, acting solely on the advice of her former attorney, filed for the temporary restraining order against Mr. Moss. She has decided that such restraining order is unnecessary and has requested the order be dismissed," Thompson said in a statement.

Hey man....how about them New York Giants? They beat the heck out of the Patriots.....in the biggest game in NFL history........

Bond. Your last film (last few films) su c ked. Your woman producer tanked the series. Your writers cannot write. And you seem to have an acting problem.

Besides, we all know 17-14 is hardly a beating. Unless you want to call the PATS 38-35 win a few weeks earlier a beatdown. Pats could not overcome the distractions the world threw at them: a bogus restraining order and perfectly timed billowings from disgruntled ex-employee Walsh and Eagles fanatic Arlen Specter and we have not even gotten around to discussing the officating.

Moss and the alleged victim left out the most important point. THE SETTLEMENT!!!!!

Yes, as in I promise I won't sue you for extortion if you drop your bogus golddigging case NOW.

Imagine that

golddigger

Randy has also received an order preventing him from coming within 500 ft of the NFL Championship trophy - no problem there!

Restraining order against Moss dropped
Posted by John Tomase at 5:33 pm

Herald colleague Laurel Sweet has the story on Florida woman Rachelle Washington deciding not to pursue legal action against Patriots receiver Randy Moss, whom she accused of injuring her on Jan. 6. She also dropped the restraining order she had taken out against him. Moss, meanwhile, agreed to have his insurance company pay her medical bills.

???There is finally recognition by her that there were no intentionally inflicted injuries,??? attorney Richard Sharpstein told the Herald. ???(Moss is) extremely pleased this unfortunate incident has been put in its proper perspective.???
