The Bucs have a shot at landing either Cardinals playmaker Bryant Johnson or Panthers speedster Drew Carter. Jets speedster Justin McCareins also could wind up in Tampa.

Bryant Johnson is by far the best of the 3.

March 12, 2008  08:46 AM ET

McCariens shouldn't even be in the NFL.

March 12, 2008  09:25 AM ET

Put Bryant Johnson in the right offense and he'll be a household name by the end of the season.

March 12, 2008  09:52 AM ET

Who isn't...wow, what a T&R!

March 12, 2008  10:58 AM ET

hey why not offer a pick for Roscoe Parrish? Stop the Donahoe Bleeding !!Go Bills!

March 12, 2008  11:34 AM ET

I think Bud Adams should give all his money to the church and retire his tight arse to hell!!! Cause this dude is tighter than some new guy going to prison for the first time!! Yep guys we still with a whole bunch of nobodys for receiver !!!

March 12, 2008  11:59 AM ET

"Jets speedster Justin McCareins"....when was he EVER considered a "speedster?" He's slow as hell and runs sloppy routes

March 12, 2008  12:28 PM ET

Chad Johnson, not hearing his name mentioned by the Bucs, was heard to scream - "were's the humanity: !!!

March 12, 2008  01:19 PM ET

Johnson would be best but why not take a speedster in the draft if that is what they are looking for. In a deep receiver draft they could pick one up in the second round for less than any of the other guys.

March 12, 2008  04:19 PM ET

I would take Drew Carter or Bryant. McCareins, I dont know he is a bit to quiet in big games for me.

March 12, 2008  06:01 PM ET

Bryant has been held back by Boldin and Fitz taking the primary wideout spots, which was evident when he started and put up great numbers. I think Bucs need him the most of any team, and he could become a top WR in the divison (which already lacks big name WRs)

March 12, 2008  08:22 PM ET

screw these guys, get Chad!

March 12, 2008  10:30 PM ET

They already got bryant and mccariens went back to the titans

March 13, 2008  07:23 AM ET

Who got bryant cusefan21?

March 13, 2008  08:16 PM ET

no the bucs got antoino bryant , not bryant johnson

March 14, 2008  09:14 AM ET

Why isn't D.J. Hackett being considered?

March 16, 2008  07:36 AM ET

I can't believe the Bucs couldn't offer a better deal that SF with the $ they have. Bad choice, now the only thing to consider is a injury prone Hackett...great. Hopefully they get something out of the draft or have another trick up their sleeves. Really was looking forward to some great pickups, not too upset overall, but only time will tell if what they are doing will work.

Now Hackett is off the table as well, Carolina just signed him...once again, opportunities slipping through their fingers....
