Hoosiers won't say if Ellis will play

Indiana interim basketball coach Dan Dakich insisted Tuesday he has not decided whether starting guard Jamarcus Ellis will play Friday night in the Big Ten Tournament quarterfinals against Minnesota or Northwestern. Dakich suspended Ellis for undisclosed disciplinary reasons last week and did not allow him to make the trip to Penn State for Sunday's 68-64 overtime loss. Dakich said he wants Ellis to learn from his mistakes and wants all of his players to know he has their interest at heart.

i have no respect for indiana. they knew what sampson was doing and just turned their shoulder. they shouldnt have eric gordon, he should be in illinois

Indiana is falling apart in a hurry. It would be an error to think that this team could do any damage in the tournament.

I respect Dakich decision not to play Ellis and make the kid learn a lesson. However, if he wants to win in the post season, he will let the kid play! Without Ellis, Indiana is nothing which a below average PSU team proved!

Yeah, Indiana is horrible. 25-6 record and top 25 the whole year. Homers

It's easy to win 25 games by playing 1 NCAA team in the nonconference and playing in the weakest power conference.

Have we still not gotten past the whole Eric Gordon thing? The kid wanted to play for IU, just not Mike Davis. Illinois fans are turning into 7 year old kids.

Wow, the level of idiocy here is amazing.

I find it amusing how fans of teams that have never been good enough to win championships (or many of them) are talking about how horrible a 5 championship team that currently had a 26-6 record is.

Hoosiers are still a powerful team. They might have another championship in them right now after everything, but they'll still make some noise.
