Chamblee (Ga.) running back/safety Warren Norman plans to attend junior day at Georgia on Mar. 22. Norman should have a good baseline on what to expect. He's already attended junior days at Alabama and Georgia Tech. Aside from the Jackets and Tide, the 5-foot-10, 190-pound Norman is also drawing interest from Clemson, Florida, Georgia, Notre Dame, Louisville, South Carolina and West Virginia.

There are a lot of backs at Georgia. At least this kid plays safety. He may end up over there.

I hope the kid doesn't share the carries with Knowshon, that would blow his chances for Heisman. But he should make a good replacement for Asher Allen

He wouldn't share the carries with Knowshon because Knowshon is going pro after this year.

no he isnt he was a redshirt freshman last year

So he'll be 3 years out of college by the end of this year.

What about Stafford Irish? Just curious.

UGA has put out a good secondary recently (especially the safties), so he might make a fine addition to the secondary.

With Moreno AND Caleb King in the UGA backfield, it's hard to figure how a stud RB would want to go there and sit on the bench for a couple of years. On the other hand, USC has 6 or 7 stud RBs on the sidelines for any given play, so maybe I'm just not seeing the appeal of sitting on the bench.
