Cowboys cooling on Pacman?

There have been no "hell, no's" leaking from Valley Ranch, rather quiet admissions that Pacman Jones has been discussed. Is still being discussed. As one Cowboys type noted, Pacman's name will go away for a while, then spring back up later in a different conversation, by a different person. The word is intrigued, not necessarily interested.

They should offer him a contract, and watch as the Tuna steals him away to the Dolphins.

He would be a high risk, high reward player. I like the idea of him going to the Dolphins because they don't really have much to lose (maybe 1 more game)

March 16, 2008  10:41 AM ET

good... let him go into Dallas and tear up the locker room.. as if they need more distractions after choking in the playoffs AGAIN

March 16, 2008  11:28 AM ET

Signing him is like playing with dynamite. A lot of risk involved. Is the possible payoff worth it?. Then again he might have grown up a bit and learned something from the yearlong bannishment. Randy Moss and T.O. seemed to have settled down and been productive, can Pacman?

March 16, 2008  12:05 PM ET

There are some good strip clubs in Dallas. There's no way he's going to stay out of trouble there. He needs to go to a town where the fugly women roll.

I THINK THE NFL OUGHT TO LET HIM GO AND FLIP BURGERS

I DONT WANT MY KIDS WATCHING AND LEARING FROM HIS PITIFUL

There is a team in the NFL that is perfect for PacMan Jones - Its call Oakland - and they will over pay for his services. A match made in heaven.

March 16, 2008  01:46 PM ET

I really don't see how you can compare Pacman to Randy Moss or T.O. T.O. has never had any off-field issues, aside from running his oversized mouth. Moss has had a few off-field issues, but nothing involving guns, people being shot, or strip club brawls. Nor have they ever been suspended from the NFL, as Pacman has been for the past year.

Sign him to a one year contract, and if he screws up, jettison his sorry behind pronto.

Does bail count toward the cap ???

March 16, 2008  04:08 PM ET

he is dead wait....unless you put a stripper pole in the locker room.

Pacman practices with dolls.

Were they ever heating on Pacman?
Doesn't sound like it.

I don't know any big bass that would hit on that Pacman.

March 16, 2008  05:05 PM ET

first hes still under contract with the titans so theres no signing him until hes either released or we trade for him. Also its worth the risk because if he controls himself hes a top 5 corner and the best punt return man in the nfl

March 16, 2008  05:21 PM ET

I think a great trade would be Pacman for Arizona receiver Boldin ,,, would be great for both teams and help each team out ! Last year before all his legal troubles there was rumors of a Pacman for Oaklands Moss ,,, another trade a lot of fair minded people would have loved & good for both teams ! Why Oakland was so inept not to do that ,,, they got a ridiculous 4th round pick from the Patriots when they could have gotten a shut down franchise cornerback.

I still feel the Titans should keep Pacman a very rare talent who the Titans desperately need even though Jeff Fisher doesn't like the drama. Patience does pay off & players settle down ,,, give Pacman another chance if he fails what have you lost. People who want the Titans to unload Pacman just want him for their team or don't want to see the Titans with him cause they know how good he is ! Everyone needs second, third, etc chances in life don't forget your good book !

Three strikes and you're out doesn't only apply to baseball.

March 16, 2008  07:20 PM ET

Pacman and T. Newman will be the best corner combo in the league by a long shot.

March 16, 2008  07:40 PM ET

Adam Jones will look just fine in a red, white and blue jersey. He will play for a team that needs a corner, not afraid of "head cases", and a worthy replacement for Asante Samuel.

Chalk it up!

Championship!!!!

Boldin for Pacman? Never happen, not even the Cards are that dumb! Why trade a top WR for someone the Titans are going to throw away?
