Seton Hall suspends coach

Seton Hall has suspended Bobby Gonzalez, its men's basketball coach, from next season's first Big East Conference game because of disparaging remarks Gonzalez made about a referee after his team lost to Rutgers in its final game of the regular season. At issue are comments Gonzalez made after his team's 64-61 loss to Rutgers, when he singled out the referee Wally Rutecki without specifically identifying him by name. During a news conference, Gonzalez praised the other two officials by name, then said, "There was a specific guy that took over all the big calls."

Blaming the refs is the weakest way out there is. Be a man, take responsibility. You lost.
