Seriously, the NFL needs to crack down on the violence towards women with these guys.

March 20, 2008  07:32 AM ET

You've got to be kidding me, another over-paid athletic doing something against the law!!!! Something needs to be done about all these thugs who play sports, ANY man who hits a women is a low life... 50% of them believe they are ,with the money , above the law!!!

Hitting a woman in a public place as a high profile pro athlete? Can it get any more ignorant than that (Adam Jones aside, of course)? Goodell has his hands full.

Before we jump the gun here, lets keep in mind that he was "accused" of it. Lets not forget Moss was "accused" as well and it came out that he did nothing. Wait before passing judgement.

And what did she do? Some females (and the Patriots) can make me act like HATER on the Soulja video. No, no the new song...

But they ask for it.

I drink this stuff but nevr got into trouble at a restaurant. One of my friends got picked up for attacking a Checkers, though. He attacked the whole restaurant and that will get your ass in trouble.

Have a good day, I am going to a different city to get Caddy looked at since my local dealer stinks.

Girlfriends and Steelers...Santonio, Harrison then this guy. In the last year.

March 20, 2008  08:07 AM ET

Steelers are going to be 13 and 3 next year!!! 13 arrest and 3 convictions!!! HAHAHAHAHA

My guess is Ced's days as a Steeler are numbered. He was already losing the battle for WR3 to Nate Washington, so this gives the Steelers one more reason to part ways.

That being said, assuming this is the same GF, she doesn't appear to be the most stable woman in the world, as she had a standoff with the police at Ced's house (he wasn't home) about 6 months ago after they had an argument. She fired a shot inside the house prior to the police arriving. Maybe Ced's to blame for her being a nutcase, or maybe this latest incident stems from the fact she was a nutcase from the start. He did have a restraining order AGAINST her for awhile. Not that I condone domestic violence in anyway, but there's some history to this one that blurs the picture.

Where is Peter King ripping the Steelers' organization for having so many domestic abusers on their roster? He was quick to rip the Bengals when they had their run of off the field troubles. I guess when it's his good friend Dan Rooney, he's not so quick to get on his moral high horse.

March 20, 2008  08:48 AM ET

Well, Joebee...these stories just came out...when King was rippin the Bengals it was only Santonio "Flavor Flav" Holmes beating women. I have to agree with the KPKahder...innocent until proven guilty...remember the Jerome Bettis rape accusation...Ced's girlfriend is a little crazy anyway

March 20, 2008  08:52 AM ET

If he truly is guilty, he is lower than whale dung in my book. If he is innocent, these women have to come up with a much better excuse for cashing in on there so called "relationships". Get a real job ladies !!!

Dumb! If you do not like the meal, then why not hit the chef? Just plain dumb. Everyone knows you do not go to Wexford for mexican.

SteelerinMD - how many of the Bengals had the charges against them dropped? How many times did Peter King report those facts? He has an axe to grind with the Bengals' organization from his days of covering the team as a beat writer in Cincinnati. In the past he has ripped the Mike Brown for having dangerous field conditions when there were problems with the natural turf at Paul Brown Stadium (and said nothing about similar conditions at Heinz Field).
