07:30 AM ET 03.21 | The agent for quarterback David Garrard said he hopes to reach a deal with the Jaguars in the next few days but left open the possibility the two sides won't agree on a new contract this year. If the two sides can't agree, Garrard would play out the final year of his current contract at just under $2 million and then become a free agent. The Jaguars would then have the option of slapping the franchise tag on him, which costs $10.7 million this year and will likely go up.

Boy...if you were the Jaguars now, don't you wish you could go back and make this decision again, just in a different direction?
