bostongm.....There is a big difference between losing Lidstrom, one of the top three defenseman to ever play, and losing one of the rags Boston lost this year. Did Cam Neeley come back and get hurt and I missed it? Half of the Bruins that went out this year wouldn't even be a 3th liner on the Wings. Cleary, Homer, Lidstrom, Hasek, Zetterberg, Kronwall, Rafalski, Chelios, Draper.........on and on.
Lets compare apples to apples, not apples to lemons.

Every guy the Bruins lost is a average NHL'er AT BEST. O.K., Chara is really tall too (lol). I got news for you, the Bruins suck even when healthy. well actually bostongm i didn't know your whereabouts, i just figured since there hasn't been any bruin sightings( a.k.a bear) in boston lately your probably looking for them somewhere in idaho! lol

Bostongm.....I don't know if you are lumping me in as a (supposed) bandwagon fan or not. If so let me refute that. I sat in Olympia Stadium in 1976(ish) and watched the Wings and the Habs play in front of about 2,000 people. I also saw the Pistons and Michigan Stags (WHL) play in Cobo Arena. My first Tiger game was in 1971, with Joe Coleman pitching for the Tigers. Lastly, my first Lions game was in 1974(ish) at Tiger Stadium.

Actually Boston is my second favorite sports town. When we were there several years ago I went to tour the Garden and Fenway before I set foot on the Freedom Trail. I have a brick from the Garden in my basement and I would love the buy a seat from the Garden also. Any extras?
