Vols to start Prince at point
One day after retooling his point guard situation during an NCAA Tournament first round game, Tennessee Coach Bruce Pearl remained committed Saturday to experimenting with different options until he finds what he wants. Sophomore J.P Prince is expected to start today against Butler and will receive the majority of the minutes at the point guard position.

I've been impressed with Prince this year. His game against Memphis was remarkable. Nonetheless, I think this is a bad decision by Pearl. His team just got a #2 seed in the tournament after a successful regular season and he wants to change the starting lineup now? This should have been done much earlier.

prince played well most of the game but really struggled at the end of regulation. seemed like the pressure caught up with him.

I was just going to say that but whodaddy beat me to it. The pressure was too much for him at the end of the game and he almost gave the game away for Tennessee with his turnovers down the stretch.

What a terrible move.
"Well its NCAA tournament time, we are ranked in top 10 nationally and I guess I need to do some line-up changes."
Talk about a way to kill team chemistry, what an idiot. He should of made the change during the regular season. Now is not the time to take chances. I'm sure the kid is really good, and it may end up being the right choice. BUT I think it's something you dont do... it will cause problems with team chemistry.
