Badger seeks Minnesota transfer

Kim Royston, the former Cretin-Derham Hall defensive back leaving Wisconsin after two years, wants to transfer to Minnesota and said he will meet with Badgers coach Bret Bielema today and try to get his release. Apparently Wisconsin will give his release to go to any school not on a future Badgers schedule, so Minnesota is prohibited for now.

It's Not!

Pink Floyd said "Bring the boys back home" and that's what Brewster is doing. Well done old man. Just don't let them keep leaving!

It won't happen. Schools do not like to lose recruits to in-division schools. It happens sometimes, but it's pretty rare.

Let the get kid his release Badgers! Is he really going to make a difference when he plays you. Let him go home and play for the Gophers. What a bunch of ****!

I'm pretty sure that the Big10 has a rule against letting transfers from within the conference play on Scholarship. If this kid wants to transfer, he might not be able to play on scholarship.

If he is going to a state school In State, is it really that expensive? And I am certain there is other financial aid (I am talking about legitimate financial aid, nothing is being implied) available to meet the costs.

If he went to cretin-durham hall high school, believe me, his parents can afford the tuition. It wouldn't surprise if his high school tuition was more the U. of Minnesota.
