Maybe if they trade down like 10 slots they can get him. Number one?!?! hahaha

March 26, 2008  07:09 AM ET

Elway.........wow. They are talking about the 1st pick in the 2nd round. Maybe ready before you comment.

March 26, 2008  07:10 AM ET

Maybe Read before you comment. My bad.

March 26, 2008  07:26 AM ET

They have a number of options.... wait till the 2nd/3rd round and see what is available. This team needs more than a QB- I mean picking Ginn and trading Chambers for nothing was a major screw up

March 26, 2008  07:40 AM ET

Flacco's better. They also need an offensive tackle. That may be a better place to take one than QB.

March 26, 2008  07:46 AM ET

The need a whole lot of everything!

March 26, 2008  08:07 AM ET

They need to workout alot of players for this upcoming draft...

March 26, 2008  08:31 AM ET

I actually like Brohm for the Phins in the second or third round. Brohm is definetly a slinger. I like Henne in rounds 5-7. Flacco has just gotten more press and is physically more impressive than Brohm but does not have and prodruction to justify he is better than Brohm.

get hawaii's QB

March 26, 2008  10:55 AM ET

Sign Ryan..........Dolphin turnaround starts there........but alas......Parcell's will pick a lineman..........

March 26, 2008  11:03 AM ET

what does a fins qb workout consist of? the qb comes in and lays down on the ground at the line of scrimmage while willie the janitor runs a streak route?

March 26, 2008  12:10 PM ET

Mark it down. Erik Ainge will have a better NFL career than Matt Ryan.

March 26, 2008  12:37 PM ET

Dear Bill quit screwing around - trade for the Cleveland "backup" QB - remember him ??? P.S. If your not sure talk to your old friend Charlie Weiss about him.

March 26, 2008  12:43 PM ET

Henne Patchinko-Woodson, Ainge, Brohm, Flacco, Johnson, and Henne will all have better careers than Ryan.

March 26, 2008  01:04 PM ET

Mark it down Miami will fight Oakland KC and Atlanta for this number one again next year.

March 26, 2008  01:11 PM ET

swap the #1 pick with the boys for 22 and 28 in the 1sr round
Boys get McFadden
FIns can get Flacco or Brohm at 22 and then at 28 look for Jeff Otah or Gosder Cherilus as an O-lineman
thats their best case scenario

March 26, 2008  01:14 PM ET

If you draft a QB in the first round, you have to pay him like a first rounder. But there is not a first round caliber QB in this draft..They may all be there at 32.

March 26, 2008  02:26 PM ET

It will be a steal if the dolphins can land Brohm with the first pick of the 2nd round... he was rated as a first rounder if he chose to come out last year... he came back for his senior year and has only improved his game while playing for a terrible team... im tired of the hype machine building up all the rest of the QB's this year

March 26, 2008  03:52 PM ET

Maybe Ted Ginn could play qb and throw to himself! Hell he might be a better QB than Ryan!

March 26, 2008  05:24 PM ET

Brohm or flacco will be there for miami's 2nd round pick. Ryan will definitly go in the first round. Sox, brohms stock went down tremendously in his senior season.....and even tho they had some injuries, there offense shouldn't have struggled as bad as it did. It's not about drafting the best QB in the draft....it's about who you think has the most potential. Plus lets not forget how much Bill loves big guys....I think he goes after flacco. I think the O lineman can wait until 3rd round(unless they trade that 1st for a few picks) Ronnie sure didn't have any problems running behind the O line before he got hurt. And they did add smiley. Chris Long, then Flacco if they dont trade that pick. MARK that down.
