Will Broncos lose Mare to Seahawks?

The Broncos attempted to get Olindo Mare to sign on the dotted line during his stay but couldn't sway him - at least immediately. The free-agent meeting wasn't enough to prevent him from getting on a plane to Seattle to visit the Seahawks, who have been in contact with him since it was apparent they'd lose Josh Brown, their own money kicker.

Syracuse grad - love ya buddy. The guy is getting old and I am concerned about his foot flying off and following the football over the cross bar.

Report Offensive CommentOlindo Mare is not a good kicker...he misses some of the easiest field goals even wider right than Scott Norwood...

Report Offensive CommentFirst of all I can not believe the Broncos got rid of Elam, I know he is old but he wins more games then he losses. Mare is washed up and is an average kicker and with Denver not getting in the end zone worth a damm this year they will need a good kicker

Report Offensive CommentIs this really a loss? If anything it is an addition by subtraction.

Report Offensive CommentI'd get him before I took a guy in the draft. Mare isn't what he used to be but he still can play. Put him on a good team and he will be better.

Report Offensive CommentMare isn't worth more than the veteran's minimum. Bring him to camp and see if maybe he's ready to break out of his seven-year slump. But it looks like he doesn't have it anymore. Not accurate enough.
