After grinding his way through his first scrimmage since early January, 25-year-old power forward Nene is expected to be in uniform and might even play a few minutes when the Nuggets face the Mavericks. The preliminary plan is for Nene to play about five minutes - a small amount for most players but a major milestone in the soft-spoken Brazilian's ongoing recovery from testicular cancer.

The Nuggets need all the help they can get, they are only half a game behind GSW and 2 games behind the unlucky Mavericks.

Whether he helps on the court or not, it's a good story he's even able to comeback this year.

I hope he does well. He deserves it.

Good for him.

PacMan Jones, a knucklehead suspended from the league, is being pursued by the Cowboys and there are 20 pages of comments. Nene to return from a battle with a life threatening disease, and noone seems interested.

Alright Hllywd, you shamved me into it. I wish Nene best of luck even though I hate the Thuggets.

We are living the Jerry Springer era, and nobody cares about a good story anymore...as sad as it may be.

My only concern for Nene is his coach. G. Karl doesn't know how to manage minutes, and will probably try to play him more than he is able to.

I think its cool he is coming back.
