Brandon Roy says he wants to play again this season, but in all likelihood, the Trail Blazers guard said he will miss at least the next two weeks, and possibly the final 10 games of the season because of injuries suffered Tuesday night to his hip and groin.

Might as well sit out. The season is over. They played hard all year. Get better, and get ready to play with Oden next year.

Please no more Blazers first round draft picks, don't they have enough good picks already!?!?!?

March 27, 2008  12:35 PM ET

Enough good picks already?? With the worst record in 2006, the Blazers picked *Fourth*-- the worst possible outcome for them. They made some good trades and turned that pick into Aldridge and ROY. Now they get Oden and everyone else starts *whining* about it... Well, enjoy the show, folks- the red and black is *back*!

well ya, I mean they make good picks. I was really just joking, not being serious. They took advantage of all the opportunities and McHales stupidity (when they traded Roy, they thought they were geniuses because they saved two million dollars...nice).

it's been a good couple of years for the Blazers' front office, you're right. I just hope Oden and Roy and Aldridge can stay healthy-- good trades can't heal knees. Go Blazers.

I'd like to see Portland get 42 wins this year if possible (they got 38 now), or at least 41 as a consolation prize by saying we have a 0.500 season. That would be an accomplishment not too many people thought would be possible when Oden had micro in Sept.

Next year though........Blake, Roy, Jones, Aldridge, and Oden.
And in 2009, it'll be...Paul, Roy, Jones, Aldridge, and Oden. (Dreaming...yes)

LET'S GET IT ON!!!!!

it'd be hilarious if the won the lottery again, or at least got to pick top-2. doesnt matter which way they go. beasley could play 3 and would be 1000x better than outlaw or jones, and derrick rose would be 1000x better than blake or jack at the 1. that would just be a completely unfair team. if they could manage that financially, oden'll get his 15 championships after all.

Yes, it would be funny if Portland punk the lottery and get #1 again.

As a matter of fact, Paul Allen is meeting with his buddy Bill Gate rght now writing the software codes to hack into the lottery system. Sorry Miami.

Yeah, Blazers weren't given a chance this year and did pretty well. They are finally living up to their potential.
