Florida football coach Urban Meyer was trying to reach 6-foot-8, 305-pound sophomore offensive tackle Seantrell Henderson of Cretin-Derham Hall the other day to offer him a scholarship. Henderson, who also has offers from Minnesota, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Wisconsin and Iowa, is getting more national offers even earlier than Cretin-Derham Hall wide receiver Michael Floyd., who's going to Notre Dame.

go to florida and win a ring...

March 28, 2008  02:06 PM ET

Not just one...Urban's building a Dynasty

March 28, 2008  03:55 PM ET

It would be nice to see some state pride and just stay with Minnesota and help them build a contender. Someday education will matter!!!

March 28, 2008  04:08 PM ET

Urban will find a way to weasel him to Florida.

March 28, 2008  04:31 PM ET

Again, Florida is a sinking Ship, Tebow is there for 1 more year. GO to UGA, thats the team on the UP and UP in the SEC.

March 28, 2008  08:22 PM ET

He'll go to ND. Cretin-Derham is practically a feeder school to ND. Ryan Harris is an offensive lineman from CD who is in the pros. He'll go to Notre Dame. He'll also be the number 1 recruit for 2010.

You ever notice that Gator fans don't really say anything bad to the ohio state and irish fans....hhhmmmm

As far as the uga freaks, well I guess once you win 2 out of 12, you get a big boy chest...??!!

March 29, 2008  09:38 PM ET

Most Gator fans can't write, and don't have electricity. They pick tobacco and live in little shacks. They usually don't wear shirts at the games. And their husbands don't, either. You all want to sign this big boy, because your feelings got hurt when my BULLDAWGS knocked your super boy on his can last year. Well, you can sign him, and we are still goint to sack Tebow like a can of beans at Publix. You series historians need to give your little stats a rest and come to realize the BULLDAWGS are fixin to own y'all for the next few years.

Florida fans can't write??? Okay that was easily the most moronic thing I have read in a few weeks. Dominate Florida? Are you kidding me, you guys said the same thing David Pollock's senior year. If you review the game tape of last season it was a tad bit closer than you remember. And considering Florida consistently ranks higher than ALL SEC schools in academics and we can't write I guess it's safe to say there are a bunch of buffoons running around at the other 11 institutions. Ohio State (giggles) you wanted to join the SEC but you remembered you couldn't beat Vandy..... GO GATORS

March 29, 2008  10:31 PM ET

Georgia will beat Florida this year.

March 30, 2008  12:07 AM ET

timewalker,
Education does matter, he is considering Florida.

March 30, 2008  12:23 AM ET

That guy must be amazing if all those schools want him

March 30, 2008  01:51 AM ET

All I know hairgut pooch is that ALL that effort last year didn't even get your girls into the SEC championship game and those "sacks" they had weren't enough to slow down Tebow's multiple records...not to mention that beautiful trophy!!! As a matter of fact, I hope uga is #1 when we give you our own "BLACKOUT!!!!"

March 30, 2008  12:56 PM ET

Big Gator-Did you forget abot Vanderbilt? UF is not a top twenty five in academics, not even close! Tell Urban someone stole his chin. He drinks wine coolers, raises gerbils and rooms with Tressel.

March 30, 2008  02:17 PM ET

Sorry to break the news to you, but Minnesota is not going to lure a single recruit away from Florida because of education unless they lie about their academic ranking.

March 30, 2008  09:44 PM ET

Hey Loyal Suckeye... after two SEC arse whoppings why dont you go back home and knit sweaters with Tressel, America has been bored senseless watching you get spanked back to back. It would be more entertaining for everyone if a real contending team stepped into the ring for a change.

Scaregut the hairless Pup... what planet did you just come from? Everyone knows that Florida owns the record for kicking your arse probably ever since you were in diapers. We are reloading.... so just keep running your mouth. UGALY couldn;t even manage to win the SEC this year, however, FL set a historic record and a Soph brought home a Heisman Trophy.... Is Fixin a UGA term?

Go Gators!!!

alright sec fans have your fun. this is your time to be pretentious because we all know you love to be. we'll be finding out soon enough that your conference is and always has been overrated. what's funny is no one from the big ten argues that we haven't been down lately. we're 5-12 overall in bowls over the past 2 season. interestly though, the sec is the one conference we dont have a losing record against. we're 3-3 overall. talk about southern dominance! guess what, the rest of the country plays football too. you're not special.

Update, the kid was just named the number one prospect for his grade. i go to a high school that plays his school and I'll tell you now he is legit. The kid is a monster!!! their not exagerating his size and he just blows people off the line. He could have blocked out entire team by himself. if Brewster can keep this kid it would be a major deal. However If he leaves I wont blame him he's that good. Go win a national championship if you can
