Oklahoma men's basketball coach Jeff Capel agreed to a contract extension Thursday that will keep him at the school through 2014, according to a school statement. The two-year contract extension, which increases his annual salary to $1,050,000 per year plus incentives, is pending the approval of the OU Board of Regents. The contract includes a stay bonus of $100,000 per year payable at the conclusion of six years. Capel, 33, was given a $100,000 raise last summer and makes $750,000 a year. He had already been under contract through June 30, 2012.
