Guevara delays MLS return
The latest on the Amado Guevara saga: From one of his reps: "Amado will not be joining MLS at this time. The MLS made a concerted effort to see that Amado rejoin the league and we were able to reach an agreement but unfortunately certain obligations could not be met within the requested time period and unfortunately this means that Amado will stay with Motagua until the end of their current season. Amado does hope to return to MLS during the summer transfer period."

Certain obligations = visa documentation?
Not like TFC will ever be a good squad under MoJo but maybe they are better off without Amado's moody antics. At least for the first half of the season.
Anyone know how Guevara is doing lately? I mean why can't a former Copa America MVP and MLS MVP find a better suitor than Motagua of the Honduran league? He can't exactly be tearing it up..

This is a shame, I was really looking forward to seeing Amado come back to the US. Oh well, he'll probably be back this summer.

By mid-season, those moody antics might seem more palatable for TFC if they find themselves struggling on the pitch again.

I don't think a visa would be much of an issue since he'll be playing for a Canadian team, and he has already played in the US before.
