Rams feel Bruce's absence

It's not as if Isaac Bruce was a regular participant during the Rams' offseason conditioning program. He always preferred to do most of his offseason work on his own, usually away from St. Louis. Cut by the team at the end of February, and quickly picked up by San Francisco, Bruce no longer has a locker stall at Rams Park. His absence this week did not go unnoticed by Rams veterans.

His absence this whole year will not go unnoticed by Rams veterans.

From here on out he will always prefer to do most of his offseason work on his own, definitely away from St. Louis.

I hated when they let him go. He desrved better than that having played for the team as long as he had and he had a pretty good season last year.

Not paying him was simply stupid.

From the Rams to the 49ers. That is a bad year. A lose lose situation.

I feel his absence and I don't even like the Rams!

Well, if the Rams go 3-13 again, then I'd say that Bruce's presence was missed. But if the team improves significantly, then that's the business of football. Bruce wasn't the first franchise superstar to get cast aside late in his career. Remember Emmitt Smith as a Cardinal? Or Jerry Rice with the Raiders, Broncos, and Seahawks?
