Wilcox seeks Sonics return

Posted: Saturday March 29, 2008 11:05AM ET

Sonics forward Chris Wilcox said he'd like to remain with the organization in the future. Wilcox is out the remainder of the season with a dislocated right pinkie. His contract expires after next season, but he said he'd like to have an extension before training camp. "It's definitely a situation that I fit," said Wilcox, who turned down a five-year, $62 million deal in 2006. "I'm getting plenty of time, and I'm helping this team. Whatever comes at the end of the season, that's who I'm with."

Recent events are not in favor of Wlcox, (Bull's)Gordon and Deng.

They will be the living proof of greed backfiring.... In the tradition of Vladimir Radmanovic, Bonzi Wells and the cash strapped Latrel Sprewell.

This Blazers fan will miss having a team in Seattle once that @#$%^& Bennet moves the Sonics to OKC.

Those Payton/Kempt vs. Drexler/Porter days were the sh'its.

guys, be honest.

How many guys say these days want to stick with their team, even though the team has one of the worst records in the league?

9 players out of 10 want to win a ring at any cost. He just wants to play. OK, he didn't sign that big contract 2 years ago but do you hear him complain?

I'm happy he's a Sonic because he's a good, hard working player who puts good numbers every night.
