Sheets' last season with Brewers?
When Ben Sheets takes the mound Monday afternoon at Wrigley Field, he will be making his sixth opening day start for the Brewers. And, in all likelihood, his last. Sheets, whose once-promising career was sidetracked the past three years by a series of somewhat exotic injuries, is eligible for free agency after the season. In forecasting his future, it's easier to find reasons why he won't be back in a Milwaukee uniform next year than why he would. If the 29-year-old right-hander finally has a healthy season and puts up impressive numbers, the Brewers would be hard-pressed to meet his asking price on what has been a runaway pitching market in recent years. And, should Sheets break down again and turns his four-year, $38.5 million contract into a complete boondoggle, the Brewers would be taken to task for giving him another chance.

It would be almost criminal for Sheets to leave the Brewers for more money. He at least owes them a few healthy seasons first to earn the money he has made while rehabbing! Of course, he may officailly go down as spending more time on the trainers table than the mound by the time this guys carrer is over. Which may be soon if he has one more injury... Hate the Brewers, but like Sheets.

Typical Yankee signing - pitcher with a big contract and arm problems. The Yankees should stick with the ' kids " for the next couple of years !!!
