Cowboys, Titans disagree on Pacman

There's a difference of opinion between the Cowboys and Titans in trade talks involving Adam "Pacman" Jones. The Cowboys see a troubled player down to his last strike, so they don't want to overpay for his services. The Titans see two playmakers -- a shutdown cornerback and an elite return specialist -- and don't want to just give away such a unique, young talent. Sources said the Titans have asked for two mid-round draft picks, one in 2008 and the other in 2009. The Cowboys were offering one second-day selection in 2008. One draft pick might be sufficient compensation for the 24-year-old's cornerback skills -- but the Titans need that second pick as payment for his return abilities. Fisher added a new twist to the negotiations when he said the Titans have not eliminated the prospect of bringing Jones back themselves if he's reinstated.

I find it amusing that all of a sudden Fisher finally says that he'll take "Pacman" back. Yeah right buddy. Can't get what you want so now you'll take back a locker room cancer that you've alienated to half your team. Jerry, don't do it for the love of God we don't need this joker on our team.

Jeff Fisher is trying to up the price. Last month they were done with Pacman. Then the Cowboys start calling, and now they might bring him back. If they want him keep him. The Cowboys still have 2 1st RD picks so it won't be that hard to find a CB to play nickel.

This is comedy, right?

ah yes. The inevitable Pacman thread. Of course Tennessee is trying to hike the price, isn't that normal procedure for sports businesses?
I think the Titans should keep him and not pass him on to add strife to another organization.

Good - hope the whole thing falls apart.

Why shouldn't the Titan's get all they can for this loser. I'm sure they have a lot of cash invested in him.. If the Boys think he is soooooo good, let them pay for him..
