Randolph on Walsh's trade list

Donnie Walsh - after removing Isiah Thomas from the bench - is expected to try to trade Zach Randolph's contract. Good luck, Donnie. Randolph realizes he'll be wearing a "for sale" sign around his neck this summer. Randolph, who scored 19 points, claims he wants to return, but would like changes made, whether it's the roster or the coach. He hardly endorsed Thomas. Nearly dealt to the Bucks, Randolph had a run-in on the bench with Thomas in December and has questioned why he was brought to town.

QUESTION:
"Randolph had a run-in on the bench with Thomas in December and has questioned why he was brought to town."

ANSWER:
Isaiah Thomas.
Is there anything surprising with what he has done with the Knicks?

Shouldn't most of the Knicks be on Walsh's "trade list"?

keep randolph send curry, with randolph we got rebounding or send both ****

April 2, 2008  09:32 AM ET

Many fans of the Knicks are asking that very same question Zach.....

April 2, 2008  09:46 AM ET

That title should read "Entire Knicks roster is on Walsh's trading list"

Curry was playing very well before Randolph came to town. Curry had averaged 19.5 ppg, 7 rpg, and .8 apg. It is worth keeping Curry in the hopes he can put those numbers up again and the only way to find out is by getting rid of Randolph because he can be selfish.

Zach...you were brought to NY because Portland GM Kevin Pritchard "Pritch Slapped" to your current coach Zeke.

Don't feel bad though...Boston, Minny, and Chicago also has been Pritch Slapped in the past. So your coach (until he gets his arss fired) has good company.

The Burger King and Ronald can really ball, they are great prospects and the Knicks got a steal.

you gotta see them in action, add them to your fantasy team.

is he the gm/pres already?

"Donnie Walsh - after removing Isiah Thomas from the bench -..."
has he fired isiah?

dnt get me wrong, i would like for him to do just that but cmon hes not even the gm/pres yet. so much assumptions.

April 2, 2008  12:54 PM ET

I think if we give Isiah 20 more years, he will fix the knicks.

I am not saying that would be a good idea for the fans, but it would be funny if Isiah retires as a Knick.

April 2, 2008  01:18 PM ET

If Isiah is questioning why Zach was brought to town, then his troubles are even worse than I thought--now he must have Alzheimer's!

"Um, Isiah, as the coach/GM, you traded for him, remember? That's how he got to town".

April 2, 2008  01:19 PM ET

but, but, but, Isiah promised that the Knicks would win the nba championship and he would be a part of it.

April 2, 2008  01:27 PM ET

Ok, raise your hand if you'd rather have Eddy Curry instead of Zach Randolph.

Can I choose "None of the above," or is this multiple choice? Long time no hear from. Good afternoon.

I would rather have no out of shape/overweight players on the team.
That takes care of Curry, Randolph and James.

None of the Knicks are worth making "untouchable". No one on the roster is a franchise player. You almost want to trade Lee and Robinson for more players.

The Knicks without Randolph or Curry, still stink.

April 2, 2008  03:47 PM ET

The knicks situation is terrible anyway you look at it, but to say eddy curry and zach Randolph are their main problems are retarded. What about the whole Jerome James massive contract??? that my friends is the knicks worst addition. Trading lee and robinson is not a good idea either, I say wait the train wreck out, wait two years and Starburys contract of 20 mill, and other will be up, and they can rebuild from there. Plus the longer they stay ****, the better draft pics.

I am a knicks fan & will be even though the future is bleak.

Seriously speaking, since Dolan has a printing press in his basement.... as a show of good faith to the fans- I would release EVERYONE on the team.
- yeah there are some guys I like, but they ALL need to go
Start completely over.
I would bet that every knick fan would actually EMBRACE Dolan if he did this-
and the overall culture at the garden would finally be positive
