NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell struck an aggressive tone about Matt Walsh, a former Patriots video assistant, saying Wednesday that at some point he will run out of patience waiting for a resolution to negotiations aimed at persuading Walsh to reveal what he knows about New England's videotaping practices. Goodell seemed to be turning up the pressure on Walsh to come to an agreement. He emphasized that Walsh was free to talk at any time because there is no confidentiality agreement with the Patriots. When asked if he would eventually let Walsh fade away if no agreement could be reached, Goodell was adamant that he would not.

no confidentiality agreement.....can you say 15 minutes of fame is up. You opened this bag of worms, show your evidence or become a tackle dummy at Patriots Practices during training camp. Bet that will get rid of those false accusations for media fame.

wow could they make Goodell sound any dumber. Stop negotiating and oome out Matt Walsh and say what you know if you dont then I will keep asking you and negotiating with you.

Is it me, or is something not right? Maybe its Matt Walsh or maybe its the NFL, but his whole situation smells fishy to me

April 3, 2008  07:25 AM ET

April 3, 2008  07:34 AM ET

Good for you Roger. As the saying goes Walsh, **** or get off the pot.

April 3, 2008  07:49 AM ET

Morning lady!

Are you going to leave a comment on the Pacman story today :)

April 3, 2008  07:58 AM ET

Already did, I'm sorry to say. Already did.

April 3, 2008  08:00 AM ET

Walsh's lawyers are trying to parlay this into some sort of lucrative enumeration. If the NFL doesn't pony up, they will just sell interviews to the media.

But perhaps I am just being cynical.

Hey Lady. I don't have you on my friends list. Send me an invite.

Too many rule changes for ME to keep up with.

April 3, 2008  08:57 AM ET

The worst thing about the rule changes is every effing year my GF asks me questions about rulings on the field and I can no longer keep up with all the changes from year to year so I just sit there like a dummy saying I have no idea..lol...

I'm not a Pat's fan, but this is not good for the game. Dude, you need to Man up, or shut up!
