MJ undecided on Vincent's future
Bobcats managing partner Michael Jordan says he's not displeased with the job Sam Vincent has done, but it's yet to be determined whether Vincent will return for a second season as coach. Jordan acknowledged rookie mistakes by Vincent -- including a December decision not to fly the team to Milwaukee that could have drawn a seven-figure fine. But on balance, Jordan said, Vincent gets a passing grade. Jordan confirmed that Vincent postponed a team flight to Milwaukee, after a December home game, without first consulting Jordan or general manager Rod Higgins. The weather was deteriorating in the Midwest, but Milwaukee's airport had not yet closed. Sources say the team tried to fly out later that night, but could not re-assemble the players. Instead, the team flew the next morning, spent hours circling the Midwest before landing in Chicago and busing north. The team arrived at approximately game time.

The item discussed above has little bearing basketballwise!!!
Byron Scott, Phil Jackson or Rick Adelman could have done the same and it wouldn't be mentioned by this time.

Bobcat fans be afraid very afraid. Jordan has no idea what he is doing in the front office of a basketball team. I know because I am a Wizards fan and watch Jordan screw our team. Coaches and draft picks he doesnt know what he is doing. Even trades he traded Rip for Jerry Jack-house, I mean Stackhouse. Bob Johnson hire some real basketball people. Rick Carlise maybe

The problem is the team is so young and no money is being spent. The Bobcats team salary is $52,711,896, that is more than half of what Dallas pays. They definitely have potential, and keep in mind this is the East. Plus they have a decent backup small forward returning with Morrison and will likely acquire the 8th overall pick.
Felton Boykins
Richardson Caroll
Wallace Morrison
Okafor Davidson
Mohammed Hollins
They need to draft a good power forward or center (don't matter which, Okafor can play either position) badly in the draft which by that time Griffin, Love, and Jordan will likely be available. After that, all they need to do is find a decent PG & PF/C bench player. They can easily grab a legit big man in the draft but the real question is are they willing to spend some money on proven talent.

Can't he just be the face of the franchise and not meddle? Jordan is going to become the Al Davis of the NBA without the almost 4 decades of genius Al Davis displayed before the last 5 years.

Jordan's legacy as a player remains. As an owner / decision maker he has none. Nothing of note, or, to be proud of. Playing skill doesn't always translate. He wasn't a great player because he knew more than anyone else, he was just better. Different worlds.
