Another college athelete ready to turn pro!!!!! He is just a step ahead and being a spoiled jerk in college! I'm sure some pro team will see this and jump right on him...

I read this and knew there HAD to be more to this story than the guy starting a conversation with her, but I didn't find anything else in the original article. If someone can, enlighten me because I don't see the crime yet.

When did being arrested become a tradition for Penn State athletics?

and people wonder why Big Ten basketball is always at a slow pace

Police said Pringle, the team's point guard, sat behind the victim in the stacks section of the library, attempted to start a conversation with the woman and began masturbating. Police have filed charges of public lewdness and disorderly conduct against him in connection to the incident, but Centre County District Judge Jonathan Grine, who is out of the office, was unable to sign the criminal complaint as of 2 p.m. today. Without the signed complaint, Pringle cannot be formally arrested.

Wow! Times must be really tough at Penn State. No wonder Pryor went to OSU.

He started a conversation? And what was this convo about? Chaucer or meet me in the stacks and show me your funbags?

April 3, 2008  11:11 AM ET

to keep up with today's college athletes, one now has to read every day the police blotter in every college town and neighboring village, I guess. pretty sad. this is what happens when colleges recruit athletes for athletic purposes only, instead of playing ball with actual bona fide students who came to the college for education purposes. TV ratings and professional sports are taking a heavy toll, and sending a poor message to kids in junior high and high school, although I guess most people don't mind thugs and criminals playing so long as 'my school' wins and somehow makes me feel better about myself and my long-past college experience

April 3, 2008  01:25 PM ET

Hey... He was in the Library for cryin out loud...He was obviously... Trying to educate the lady... By showing her his Longfellow

Pacman has taught him well. Role models are great.

I would like to get some in a library at least once. There is nothing better than a study session with a hottie that ends in steamy action. It is a win win situation.

If he dribbled in the Library it could be used as evidence against him.
