What a load of you know what. The Rays have a good young team, and can beat anyone at any given time, like many oterh mjor league teams, So opposing teams can't lay back. But to instigate a young pitcher with a question like that, come on NY Post quick being a rag..

What a bunch of little babys that we have now playing baseball. mommy he sled into me now I am going to beat him up. I will tell these little babys that are playing this game now . Grow up the players from the past would eat you alive. They knew how to play the game ,they took their bumps and gave they out also ,it was part of the game. You play hard all the time.

If Im a young poitcher, I want the other team to think its possible I might put one in their ear... even if I have no intention of doing so.

This is like a WWF story script. Trying to 'build' a rivalry to sell more tix or something. Let it go, and play ball.

Seriously must be a slow news day at the Post (ie- no anti-Arod news worth printing) so they need to create a fake rivalry between the Yankees and the Rays. And as mets4life stated if I'm Kennedy I want them to think chin music could happen at any time because it'll keep hitters from hanging over the plate. I just hope the umpires don't issue warnings right off the bat and then someone gets ejected for an inside pitch. To take away the inside part of the plate from a pitcher is like neutering a dog.

Ian Kennedy is going to smash Jonny Gomes over the head with a steel chair when the ump is distracted

METS4LIFE- Jeter will probably distract the umpire or bump into him causing him to stay knocked out for 5 minutes while Knenedy hits Gomes with the steel chair

Why is this young pitcher opened his mouth? What is he going to do? Hit somebody? Now that he talked the MLB is going to watch out and take the appropriate action.
