Rookie forward Yi Jianlian will miss the rest of the National Basketball Association season because of a left knee injury, the Milwaukee Bucks announced Friday. "It's difficult," coach Larry Krystkowiak said after discussing the matter with the Chinese star.

bugger

His injury is sort of timely, because it will allow him to rest. Which I think is fine, considering the Bucks aren't going anywhere anyway. It is only nine games anyway. Let him recuperate so he is ready to go for the Chinese national team

The Bucks are pretty lucky, a likely 7th pick in the draft could mean they could land Eric Gordon

They should trade Redd is not a franchise player and Mo' Williams to get a better floor general.

Noah reminds me of some well down pasta - he definitely isn't "a dente" !!!

who?

April 5, 2008  09:19 PM ET

Yi Jianlian needs to rest so that he can be ready for the Summer Olympics in his home country of China, and then return to the NBA next season.
The "knee injury" is a convenient excuse to enable him to do that.

maybe he and Yao can rehab together

April 6, 2008  01:39 PM ET

Yi, and Bogut, should be traded to a Team that knows how to pass
and play team basketball. The Bucks belong on the playground.
No more than one pass, and then a quick jump shot. REDD and
MO WILLIAMS never saw a shot they didn't like.

Wonderful....

Is he going to be worried about the Olympics like Yao?!
