Jermaine O'Neal knew it was time but didn't want to go. The Indiana Pacers forward saw Jeff Foster at the scorer's table waiting to check in. O'Neal looked over at coach Jim O'Brien and said, "Coach, let me stay in. O'Neal wanted to remain in the game because his left knee, which caused him to miss 33 straight games, wasn't giving him any problems and the Milwaukee Bucks had trimmed what was a 13-point lead to two.

why do you think the bucks were able to trim that lead from 13 to 2 in the first place, jermaine? maybe while you were on the floor?

O'Neal needs to just go with the flow and do what the coach wants him to do, because this is a DEAD season and they will have him at 100% next season.
