10:53 AM ET 04.07 | A new week and a new player from a U.K. league linked with Toronto FC. This time it is Ivorian Olivier Tebily who once played for Scottish giant Celtic as well as Birmingham City. Considering the defensive meltdown by Toronto away to D.C. United this weekend even at 32, if he is still fit then he would be a much needed addition to the Reds.

Ni kidding, Even if Henry comes over for Seattle (doubtful), he will be in his 30's. We can't seem to get the young exciting ones over here...but, i don't blame them.

patience, it will happen.

Ex-Celt... need he say more?

Really though, Toronto's got gaps in their team that they defidently need to fill. This one sounds more Rumor than Fact though. There have been a million names thrown out there by Toronto. I dont see it happening

i think he would be a supersigning

He won't solve Toronto problems. Jeff Cunningham is a decent MLS striker anyway. Toronto just has no one in midfield that can play balls to the strikers and there back four gives up too many goals. Tebily solves neither of those.

Cheap plug sorry if it bugs anyone, if anyone has some time to kill check out the football site sinnacle dot com***

If Tebily signs for an MLS team it will confirm the **** quality of the league, he was even a disaster in the SPL which is pretty much a joke aswell. http://ihos.wordpress.com/2008/03/28/fancy-a-game-of-pro-football-give-gre tna-a-call/

PeterVanVossen, wouldn't Tebily have to sign AND play well to confirm the so-called **** quality of the league. I mean, if he came over and was regularly destroyed by MLS offenses, wouldn't that disprove some of what you are saying?
