No takers for Rangers right-hander

Rangers right-hander Robinson Tejeda, designated for assignment before the season started, is still available in a trade although there's been little interest in him. The Rangers have until Wednesday to complete a trade for Tejeda or he's subject to be picked up via waivers. Texas went through the same process for Nelson Cruz, who made it through waivers and is now at Triple A Oklahoma. It doesn't look like there are any takers out there for Tejeda right now.

Tejada can go or stay. He isn't necessary to the Rangers right now. The Yankers can have him.

They didn't even put Tejeda's photo on this bit. That's Gerald Laird slapping hands. Not only is Robinson not wanted, but there are no photos on file either.

You are right. And he is not a "has been" or anything like that, he is a "never was."
