Isiah to remain through season
After Isiah Thomas is honored and cheered tonight at The Palace, he steps into the firing line tomorrow with his expected meeting with new president Donnie Walsh. Walsh spent the past few days gathering belongings in Indiana, but returns to New York tomorrow to attend his first game as Garden president when the Knicks host Charlotte. Indications are Walsh will not make a coaching change tomorrow, but is planning the move after the season. Thomas is lobbying to remain in a front-office capacity. Walsh, at last Wednesday's press conference, said he wanted to meet with Thomas first before making a rash decision.

It's okay to let him finish out the season. But I hope Isiah is fully aware that he better pack up his office after the last game. I'll even help him.

What kind of "front office popsition" could he be trusted with? All he deserves is transportation to the airport. Anything else gives him the chance to screw it up.

Season over people I'm back!
Where do I start?
Okay knick can not keep Isiah. The knick are in better shape then they were when Isiah took over. That said, Isiah did not get the job done.
The Knick have pieces to trade. They will be under the cap after next year. The knick do have young talent.
Zach or Curry must go. We can start there!

LionTut when did you hop onto the "fire Isiah" bandwagon? You were tooting his 'horn' all season saying he was the best and now here you are.
Isiah can stay as the janitor. Make him earn those millions. Keep him as a scout and make him scout the one thing he detests so much....Europeans. Keep him far away from the front office. Hell go make him scout Frederic Weis since they still own the rights to him.
But Liontut stop with the bandwagon crap. Your a Piston's fan in a Knicks Uni.

I am not on the fire Isiah bandwagon. Have your fun. I thought Isiah could get it done.
The point I am making is clear. Isiah has been replaced at the president position. and I don't think isiah is a good coach.
I think Isiah has moved the Kcinks in the right direction, but not fast enough.
I still like Isiah, but not as a coach. I always said I was a Knick fan first.

You're not being serious are you? What direction are the Knicks headed? If you mean front row at the draft lottery, than yes, he's made reservations there.
