A new rule at Dodger Stadium denies field-level access to autograph seekers who don't have box seats. It allows only the rich kids to get autographs, while keeping the unwashed away from box-seat holders.

They should at least let the poor kids come down to field level between innings 1-3 (before any LA fans show up) and then again between innings 7-9 (when all the LA fans go home)

Classy organization them Dodgers.

Classy wording in this post as well.

How do you think the rich kids got rich? They sell the autographs to the poorer kids on ebay. Isn't capitalism great?

April 8, 2008  09:50 AM ET

Boo.

Ha. I love the use of the word "unwashed" to represent the poor. Thats like refering to their mentally handicapped fans as the "unsmart".

really any surprise? and its not just the Dodgers.

Still cool to come down and try to hit on Alyssa Milano if we don't have a season ticket?

April 8, 2008  12:03 PM ET

who the hell wants the autographs of those bumbs.....they all die the same and end up in the same hell hole

April 8, 2008  12:24 PM ET

The are players on the dodgers that you would want an autograph from???

April 8, 2008  12:34 PM ET

All teams should allow all kids access to get autographs during a certain time period before the game. The Dodgers aren't the only team with this policy. I think it sucks that only a select minoritiy ... rich .... get to get the players autographs.

April 8, 2008  12:46 PM ET

That sucks and is an extremely bad PR move by the McCourts. D'oh!

April 8, 2008  12:52 PM ET

Unwashed...I like...I also will occasionally use Indiginent, incorrigible, and clusterfucked

April 8, 2008  01:11 PM ET

I guess that means "HANDS OFF!" to you, Alyssa Milano.

April 8, 2008  01:44 PM ET

Maybe the backlash will make them reconsider that rule.

Impoverished, destitute, filthy, decrepit, rode hard and put up wet, chewed up by a wolf and **** down a cliff, etc., etc.

April 8, 2008  01:52 PM ET

What a wonderful rule !!! Were's the humanity !!!

April 8, 2008  03:38 PM ET

Great, let's go ahead and expose little kids to a class system early in life. What a great way to promote the team. I'd love to hear the official organizational rationale for this "new rule".

Yeah, this doesn't bode well for their community relations department.
