Zambrano can't kick caffeine

When the Cubs' medical staff advised Carlos Zambrano to cut down on his caffeine intake, they knew it wouldn't be easy for him to do. Pitching coach Larry Rothschild said Sunday that Zambrano "is off a lot of the caffeine," but hasn't kicked the habit completely. Zambrano laughed on Sunday morning when asked if he'd stopped drinking coffee and energy drinks, saying he now does it "under the table." Told later that Piniella implied he was still drinking too much of the caffeinated beverages, Zambrano raised his eyebrows. Zambrano said he has cut back significantly but admitted it was a difficult task. Still, he knows he has to do it to prevent the forearm cramps that he has suffered on and off for years.

Caffeine causes cramps, what if Zambrano develops narcolepsy?

If he's drinking so much caffeine that it's a public problem, then he's going to have one big bad headache when he quits.
