TE/LB adds Seminoles to list
Lassiter's Philip Lutzenkirchen received a pleasant surprise on Thursday when he picked up the phone and called the Florida State coaching staff. "They offered me even though I hadn't received one letter from them," the 6-foot-4, 230-pound tight end/linebacker said. "It was kind of out of the blue. Lutzenkirchen, who already had scholarship offers from Auburn, Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, Stanford and Troy, said he'll settle on a school by June.

Bowden needs to step away & let the University begin the process of getting back to a to top 5 team, before they lose even more off their luster
It's not 20 years ago, when only a handful of teams were on TV & all the top prospects went to 4-5 schools. Now they needs to recruit- Bowden might be a hall of Famer- but like Paterno- kids don't want to play for an 'old man' whose glory days were before they can remember

As a high school booster in the 80's, I was always impressed with Bobby
and Tom Osborne, and their genuine attention to the kids, whether they went to their schools or not. I'm not sure that that is the norm now, and suspect it isn't.
It was the time when I grew to really appreciate Mark Richt. I hope he hasn't "lost" the magic he could give,
But I feel that Bobby is beyond his time. I'm sorry, but that's how I see it.
FSU needs to move on.
