Asked if he would consider making a draft-day trade for a veteran receiver such as Cincinnati's Chad Johnson, Arizona's Anquan Boldin or Detroit's Roy Williams, Jerry Jones told reporters in Dallas, "Yes," before punctuating his remark with a smile and a wink. The Cowboys own the 22nd and 28th picks in the April 26-27 draft.

How about the bears trade Lance Briggs for Chad Johnson?

April 17, 2008  07:29 AM ET

Now that Chad Johnson says that he will attend nothing until getting traded....It will probably happen. I think it's a smart move to go after anyone of the three. I don't think the Lions or Cardinals will give either up, but the contracts are coming due and both teams are paying their other WR too much money. It will be interesting.

You get a Pro Bowl Starter at WR and CB Pacman Jones......plus another first round pick- CB! and all the other picks. Not to mention that RB Marion Barber is about to sign a 6 or 7yr extension. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO RB IN THE FIRST ROUND FOR THE COWBOYS BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm ready to trade Chad Johnson for a box of Cheez-Its.

April 17, 2008  08:02 AM ET

i like chad and it would be a good move for the cowboys but him and t.o together is like oil and water lol he should come to the skins but if not go on to the cowboys and destroy it by putting two pri maddonas on one team LOL

Chad is a punk. TO might have been disruptive but never to the degree of this guy. It would never work.

April 17, 2008  08:23 AM ET

TO and Ocho both complaning about not getting enough passes. Those are 2 large egos and only 1 football

Hmm, TO has a breakout year with the Cowboys. No disruption in the locker room. Total team player. Could this Eagles fan be jealous because his team couldn't handle him?

e was a loud showboating clown in philly, but he was a DAMN GOOD WR. TO just couldn;t seem to stay away from bashing his teammates, argueing in the locker, argueing with the coaches. Massivly disruptive. He hasn;t done anything remotly close to that in dallas. am I jealous? Yes. If he could be a normal human being like he is in dallas we could have a SB ring

April 17, 2008  08:38 AM ET

And he was the same way in SF. So, just maybe Dallas was his last chance and he finally realized it. Or maybe teh Dallas organization knows how to handle their players better.

Where are the auditions being held? Would love to go & watch.

Get William or Boldin, not Johnson pleeeeeeez!

April 17, 2008  08:44 AM ET

I just don't see the appeal of a strip club. Mostly skanky women gyrating around a stage and guys throwing money at them like they have a chance. Maybe if you are a famous football player, then yes. Ordinary Joe? That's just pathetic.

Jerry Jones should put America's Legend on the payroll....

April 17, 2008  08:50 AM ET

I wish bro. Don't worry. I will be back in America in 3 1/2 years. I will be taking Roy Williams spot at SS when I get back..... :) It wouldn't be that hard!
