Erik Bedard is to throw a bullpen session on Friday in Anaheim as he tries to rebound from the hip inflammation that landed him on the 15-day DL. Bedard said he felt fine after playing catch on Wednesday. The Mariners have been tight-lipped about what is causing the inflammation, amid speculation that the injury is more serious than the team is letting on. An MRI was taken over the weekend, but John McLaren said he had no further information on it.

AllStarz, anytime you want to hijack a thread today let me know. :))

Boy...this season has certainly started out odd. Bedard, Willis and Sabathia have gotten off to terrible starts. I would add Zito to the mix, but he's stunk for a couple of years now.

4192jc,
Pick one with little or boring activity. That game last night should generate more discussion than all of these threads combined. That was alot of hitting on both sides.

My best judgement says that the Piazza thread has generated the least interest, judged on post count and level of humor. I am going over there and Hijacking it...

Seattle has a real shot at a divisional title. I know a lot of folks were picking the California Angels (A name I wished they kept).

April 17, 2008  10:31 AM ET

I like the Mariners chances in the West.
Good pitching, and timely hitting.
If they get the timely hitting...they can make a run.

I also would like not mention, unlike New Yourk, Bhawston, or Chitcago, Seattle is a BEAUTIFUL city. Washington is a BEAUTIFUL state.
