when you rehab by throwing 72 year old men to the ground you heal quicker. Especially while watching KFC fights.

....only to get injured again. this guy is washed up.

I hope he comes back early, so then he can injure himself again and be out for life. Give it up old man and while you're at it join Tejada and let us know your real age.

Pedro did not take the advice of Mike Hampton and Carl Pavano, to just take the year off.

The reporter probably interrupted him during a cockfight.

Leave it to the Daily News to pull a NY Post and publish garbage. Pedro never said he expects to be back in 2 weeks. He was being dramatic to emphasize how surprisingly well the recovery's been thus far.

The Mets shouldn't let him rush back. He can pitch again after the All-Star break and be healthy for the stretch run.

And, yes, Don Zimmer is, indeed, helping him rehab...

Pedro should SHORTEN his career

What's the point of coming back before the all star game?
- just do a Clemens & be ready for the stretch run

...................as the team's new towel boy, but he will probably get hurt doing that too.............

He should hang em up...go back under the mango tree!!!

The funny thing about this story is that it calls Pedro the team's "ace". He hasn't been an ace since he threw Don Zimmer to the ground. Shouldn't Santana be considered the ace, even if he has gotten out of the gate a little slow? Some people just don't know when it's time to step away.

Theo Epstein has made some bad free agent signings over the years but Pedro was probably his best "non-signing" ever !!!
