Goodell hopeful of Walsh deal

It has been more than two months since the name Matt Walsh entered the local sports lexicon, and we may finally be close to knowing what light, if any, he can shed on the Patriots' videotaping practices. Speaking at the SMU athletic forum luncheon in Texas on Wednesday, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell expressed hope that a deal allowing the former Patriots video assistant to talk will be struck soon. At present, the league has found nothing to warrant further investigation into the Patriots videotaping practices.

And ANOTHER Tomase story with no merit or anything new....

Why is this thing aloud to drag on? Tell the guy if you got tapes, produce by the end of the week. If not, done deal. The old put up or shut up usually works better than the show up with your evidence when your ready approach.

If Walsh had anything on tape he would have sold it to TMZ already. Enough with this bullshizz.

I think we should call on Arlen Spectacle to get an obstruction of justice warrant out on Walsh..

Coincidence that Tomase rewrites the Feb story a week before the draft...

You guys want to know why NFL players want so much money? How would you like to have your local sports section of the fourth estate watching everything you do and even looking at you and carrying cameras and recording machines and phones in your locker room?

Tomase will get fired and ghost write Walsh's book and they will then do a special TV mini-series on people who look and act like that Smalley character from Saturday Night Live..starring Tomase!

They're gonna wait till a week before the season starts, and then Matt will spill the beans. It will be a motivator for the Patsies to lose another SB.

It is now day 5490 and new commish Roger Goodell the VI is still negotiating with the estate of the late Matt Walsh for videotapes of the forrmer N.E., now Bangkok Patriots !!!

Tomase has no integrity and could only write for a rag like the Boston Herald. His next job will be working for a tabloid somewhere. No one needs writers like Tomase who are irresponsible and totally lacking in integrity. He actions speak volumes about the type of newspaper the Boston Herald is. Not only do they allow him to print false allegations without substantiation but then don't fire him when his lies are not confirmed.

Wow, this story has me at the edge of my seat....Zzzzzzz.

I heard that the complication was that Goodell wasn't sure he wanted to get all the tapes from Walsh. One of them proves that Belichick was behind the grassy knoll in Dallas, another shows that Gisele and Tom Brady are really space aliens sent here to bred and take over the world, and the last one shows Elvis working at a Stuckies off I-40 in Tennessee. I think Goodell isn't sure he wants to pay to see the last one, but heck, I would. Who knows who's making all of those peanut logs?

Goodell is enjoying the limelight. Hates the Pats loves the Jets and is going to call Jessica Simpson after he gets his tv time with Walsh to see if the Pats paid her to wear Romo out the night before the Dallas/Patriots game.
WONDER IF ANY OTHER CLUB HAS EVER TRIED TO STEAL SIGNALS FROM AN OPPOSING TEAM? DIDN'T THE JETS ADMIT DOING IT?
Nah no one else does that.
