It does not appear the Buffalo Bills will be parting ways with quarterback J.P. Losman this season. Losman, who is entering his fifth NFL season, lost his starting job to rookie Trent Edwards last season and has requested to be traded. But Bills Chief Operating Officer Russ Brandon said there are no plans to grant that request at this time.

Now THERES a reason to ask for a trade.

Who cares about Losman, I hope this is the last story I'll ever read with this loser!

April 18, 2008  07:42 AM ET

Come on. Some team wants to trade for Lossman?

April 18, 2008  07:45 AM ET

There are a BUNCH of teams that could use Losman.
Purely because hes 10 times better than what they have now.

Back up for Delomme........better than last year's plan of Carr.

Hank, you seem a little frustrated and tense. I guess being a Bills fan in general can do that to you though.....

game 7 or 8 ? My, arent YOU the optimistic one today.

April 18, 2008  08:46 AM ET

We'll trade him for a 6-pack and a box of cigars.

"Back up for Delomme........better than last year's plan of Carr."

Pretty sure the reason he wants a trade, is so he can start..not play backup somewhere else.

April 18, 2008  09:11 AM ET

You're right on that count Squeeb, however I can't believe he's one of the top 30 at his position and worthy of a starting role. Better than some other backups out there sure, but would I want him running my ship after his anemic performances in Buffalo?!?

April 18, 2008  09:40 AM ET

yeah..who wants him? i can't believe there isn't a pacman story today. I can't go on.

April 18, 2008  09:43 AM ET

Maybe they can trade him to an AFL team, I'm sure they will get something better in return.

*off

April 18, 2008  10:31 AM ET

maybe that not such a bad idea.....

April 18, 2008  10:52 AM ET

Hey, Losman, better learn to speak Canadian, eh?

April 18, 2008  10:53 AM ET

Hmmmmm.......

you lose your starting job on a team that is mediocre-
what does that say about YOU?

April 18, 2008  10:55 AM ET

I wish they would If we could trade. We need a back up for Drew Brees, plus Losman played his college ball in the Dome.
