A's consider new Street deal

A's general manager Billy Beane said he talked to Alan Hendricks, the agent for closer Huston Street, this week but that the sides are discussing a possible multi-year deal in more general terms than anything really specific yet.

Report Offensive CommentI would be careful about signing him again because he's a very shaky closer. Signing any closer or relief pitcher to a lucrative contract is really a crapshoot. With a few exceptions most end up ineffective after 3 years or so.
