This would be great for the Vikings and honestly even if they had to give up a first rounder the only thing they would miss out on is maybe snagging a QB but, with Matt Ryan projected to be long gone by the time its the Viks turn, the Viks don't have too many other needs.

Considering two of the Vikes DEs will likely miss the entire season, I'd have to say they do indeed need a DE, especially one who can put pressure on the QB. Their D has improved so much and the main problem is opposing QBs having way too much time to find a receiver. Allen would go a long way in solving that.

This would make Minnesota a contender in the NFC if you ask me. They are already my dark horse for this coming. year. If, and its a big if, AD can stay healthy and Allen comes in to help that defense this team could be pretty good. Play some old school football with running the ball and a stout defense.

I hope that the Vikings get him. He would be such a good addition to the team. The Vikes would just need to make sure that there was a clause in his contract about his drinking just so they cover themselves. He could be the missing piece to our defense. Go Vikings!

Get the trade done. I don't see the Vikes getting anyone in the first round who will make a huge difference. Allen would be a force right away and help the pass defense.
