Bruins forward to test NBA interest

It is a decision Luc Richard Mbah a Moute made on his own, independent from teammates who are taking the same path, and made with the blessing of UCLA Coach Ben Howland if not necessarily his recommendation. Mbah a Moute, a 6-foot-8, 230-pound junior forward, on Friday afternoon became the third Bruin in two days to make himself available for the NBA draft. Freshman center Kevin Love and sophomore guard Russell Westbrook did the same Thursday.

If that dude plays 4 years in the NBA i'll perform **** on myself on youtube. Good college ROLE player but he has 0 skill. That **** better get his educationbecause the only NBA coin he'll get is as a coach or something

Absolutely not ready. He will end up in the CBA... the Cameroon Basketball Association. He, Shipp and Collison should stay

Hell of a defender but in today's NBA you have got to be a scoring threat and he had a bad year offensively. Was really weird because 2 years ago he was a beast and won Pac 10 freshman of the year. He seems to have regressed on O....like Shipp.

He needs to stay and get his degree

This kids just don't get it!! Stay in school and get an education. Longer you stay in school the higher you will go in the draft and make more money. 75% of these kids never make it past there rookie year in the NBA and get shipped to Europe.

I just don't understand why guys, who aren't standouts, consider leaving early. Are they ok with settling for mediocrity in the NBA? I would love to see the age minimum bumped up... though that wouldn't really make a difference when there are 20- and 21-year old freshman (Taj, OJ and Devon).

who does this guy think he is? he so isnt ready to take that step.

I dont see why he would, i've looked at mock drafts and he's a predicted mid-second round pick. He had a great freshman year but has since never icreased his productivity
