Arrest made in Pacman shooting

Pacman Jones is "satisfied" an arrest has been made in the Las Vegas strip club shooting that led to his NFL suspension and hopes he can get some closure, his attorney said Saturday. Arvin Kenti Edwards of Renton, Wash., was arrested Friday and charged with three counts of attempted murder with a weapon and three counts of battery with substantial bodily harm in the February 2007 incident. Attorney Manny Arora said he wasn't permitted to talk about specifics of the case, but said Jones fully cooperated with police. Arora would not say when or how many times Jones met with police or if Jones knows Edwards, who was already in custody on unrelated charges in a Washington jail.

This whole thing stinks like yesterday's diapers. Pretty convenient to find and arrest the alleged shooter a few days after Pacman delays filing reinstatement papers with the NFL. Was the arrest what he was waiting for? Will Pacman pay for Arvin Kenti Edwards lawyer? Will 'witnesses' be able to identify him as the shooter?

'Found in a Washington jail in custody on unrelated charges'. Domestic violence is what I read last night, so we know he likes to beat on women too. What a prize to have in your next private party.
